clsr is a private social network for your inner circle. This guide takes you from download to your first Moment in a few minutes — and shows you how to keep everything exactly as private as you want.
clsr is launching soon on iOS (14+) and Android (8.0+). Once it’s live, download it from the App Store or Google Play and open it up.

Tip clsr is mobile-only by design — there is no web version. Keeping it on your phone is what keeps it personal.
Tap Create Account and sign up with your email and a password. That’s all we ask for — no phone number required.
Already have an account? Just choose Sign In instead.
Tip Your password needs at least 6 characters. You can reset it anytime from the login screen.
Next, you’ll set up who you are. Each field has its own privacy level baked in:
When you finish, clsr generates your unique code — eight characters in the form XXXX-XXXX. This is your identity on clsr: people add you by code, never by searching a username.
Tip You must be at least 16 years old to use clsr.
Circles are how you control who sees what. During setup you can spin up a few starters — Family, BFFs, Work, and School — or skip and add your own later.
When you post, you’ll choose whether it goes to everyone, to specific circles, or to hand-picked people. Circles help you organize friends and control who sees what.
Tip A friend can belong to more than one circle, so you can target the same post to exactly the right people.
To connect with someone, enter their XXXX-XXXX code to send a friend request. They can accept, reject, or ignore it.
Find your own code on your Profile tab — tap to copy it and share it however you like. Optionally, you can allow requests from friends of friends.
Tip Sent a request by mistake? The other person can quietly ignore it — no awkward notification.
Tap the center create button and pick a Moment type:
Before you post, set the visibility: Everyone (all friends), one or more Circles, or Specific people. Friends can like and comment.
Tip No algorithm decides who sees your Moments — you do, every single time.
Activities turn clsr into real-world plans. Create one as either:
Choose who’s invited (anyone, a circle, or specific friends). Invitees RSVP going, maybe, or declined, and you’ll get a push notification when they do.
Tip Create an activity and you’re automatically marked as going — no need to RSVP to your own plan.
Clubs are opt-in communities around a shared interest — a way to meet people you don’t already know. Open them from the Clubs pill on your main screens.
You can be a member of up to 3 clubs for free.
Tip Clubs stay separate from your private Moments feed, so meeting new people never mixes with your inner circle.
